Connect Switchboard to TruckerPro with your API ID and key. Truck positions, cycle time remaining and your driver and truck rosters come into dispatch.
A first sync runs when you save the connection.
Cycle time remaining shows on the ELD dashboard and logbook board.
Driver and truck rosters import, so nobody retypes units.
Odometer shows on the ELD dashboard.
How do I connect Switchboard to TruckerPro?
You need an API ID and API key from the Switchboard portal.
In Switchboard, open Settings, then API Keys.
In TruckerPro, open Settings, then Integrations, and choose Switchboard.
Enter the API ID and key. TruckerPro tests them before saving.
The first sync runs on save.
What does Switchboard data do in TruckerPro?
TruckerPro asks for positions every 2 minutes. Each position is already a minute or two old when it arrives, so a moving truck normally reads 3 to 6 minutes behind.
The ELD dashboard and fleet map.
Load tracking and stop ETAs.
The late and at-risk marker and last known location on the dispatch board.
The tracking link you send a customer.
Time-at-stop records.
An alert when a truck has stopped reporting for 4 hours.
What the Switchboard connection does not do
The connection is read-only. TruckerPro does not change anything in your Switchboard account.
Duty status and drive, shift and break clocks do not come across.
IFTA miles do not come across, and the logbook audit is not available for this provider.
Trailers, DVIRs, fuel, fault codes and safety events do not come across.
